One night, in cities all across Europe, five children vanish - only to appear, years later, at an exclusive New York party with a strange and
elegant governess. Rumor and mystery follow the Faust teenagers to the city’s most prestigious high school, where they soar to suspicious heights with the help of their benefactor’s extraordinary “gifts.”
But as the students claw their way up - reading minds, erasing scenes, stopping time, stealing power, seducing with artificial beauty - the side-effects of their own addictions. And as they make further deals with the devil, they uncover secrets more shocking than their most

I absolutely LOVED this book.
I dreaded taking this back to the library, and actually considered how many late fees would have to build up before they just let me have it!
If this was a movie.......... I would.......

I didn't care for the original Faust legend; however this new version is much more intertaining. Each character varied in personality and villainy. Oh, and the use of different viewpoints gave me a thorough view of their complexities.
Overall:
Christian and Bice were my favorites!
I loved to have Victoria.
Valentin and Belle were annoying.
Madame Vileroy was scary as shit!
And those freakin' moths made my skin crawl.
